All About Frederick

On a Sunday, we had a very concerning total power outage, even though we have a generator from Long. I phoned long electric and Jason came right out, diagnosed the problem, set up primary and secondary plans, and scheduled things to get under way once the required part, the main breaker, was received. Our house is nearly 50 years old and that part might not be available any longer. Jason went above and beyond finding it, then had another terrific staff electrician, Luis, come in and install it. They also installed a surge protector to protect us and the household. All work was done very professionally. All discussions were extraordinarily helpful, respectful and friendly. I recommend them as highly as one can.

I came to Tara’s salon needing a beaded weft weave which is so hard to find in Frederick Md. I started with a consultation where she demonstrated her extensive knowledge of how to properly install a weave. I booked right away. Her salon was quiet and relaxing and clean. She let me know everything she was doing, making hair recommendations along the way. I was super happy with the results. But three weeks later my wefts started slipping. I called her and she got me in right away. We assessed and fixed the issue which was attributed to my unusual hair growth and the type of wefts I was using. We made a plan to change out the hair in the future. Her professionalism was OUTSTANDING!!! I felt totally cared for. She is personable and a pleasure to speak with. I almost hate to tell anyone because I selfishly don’t want everyone to know what a gem of a hairdresser I have found! But I do want her to succeed and I like many others need professionals like her. I asked Tony for an estimate a month ahead of an EV charger install. He deferred and asked me to reach out closer to the planned date. I did, he agreed to come out for an estimate. Then, the next day he let me know his brother would be handling the estimate and install. I agreed. His brother suggested a Monday for an estimate, I asked for a particular time, and received no response back. He went no contact, and the Monday came and went with his brother never showing up. I ended up using a different electrician.

Sharing photos of my newly remodeled bathroom - it is absolutely beautiful - wonderful workmanship and a crew of contentious and knowledgeable craftsmen. Very courteous and always careful when entering and leaving. Wished I had before pictures but you can imagine what a horror the original bathroom was after 40 years of use. My cleaning service from Kidwell’s Kleaning today was great. The two staff were very professional and efficiently cleaned everything perfectly. They did a very thorough job getting my home back to spotless.

I almost never leave bad reviews, but I’m too upset not to give a warning. I’m not sure if I just caught them on a bad day but I left my new patient consultation in tears today and don’t intend to return. Among many things that made me uncomfortable during this exam, the dentist quite literally told me that my business would be more successful if my smile was better. That was after telling him that I’ve been insecure about my smile my whole life but have never had the funds to get braces or Invisalign. I felt talked at, pushed, and upsold. Really unfortunate waste of time, money, and mental energy. It’s not that hard to be kind and consider people. Especially when they’re a new patient.

This was the first time I had to purchase countertops and Gabriel was very helpful throughout the entire process. He was very knowledgeable about the different types of counter materials and guided me through the selection process (in the end I selected quartz). He also kept in touch with me to give me updates about delivery and installation, they were actually able to install the countertops 2 days ahead of schedule. They did a great job with installation which only took about 2 hours to complete and were careful not to scratch the walls or newly installed cabinets.

Maria has been with our family for about 5 months now. We needed help keeping up with the household chores after having a baby. She comes on time every two weeks and does a fantastic job keeping our home clean. I couldn’t be more grateful to her and she has become like family to us.
